Getting to Bangkok

As anticipated our day(s) of travel to Bangkok was very long.  We immediately felt the cultural difference as soon as we steped foot on Eva Airlines.  The geisha-like flight attendants were serene and quiet.  Then, the drink cart came around and we soon discovered that there as very little alcohol on the plane... Only beer and wine served in comically small portions.  Needless to say, we rotated asking different flight attendants for 4 glasses of wine at a time...

We arrived in Taipei for a short layover and had just enough time to explore the terminal. The airport had unique features new to us: a hello kitty breast feeding room, a relaxation 'garden' with massage chairs and even floor to ceiling windows next to the urinals in the bathroom...

On to the next!
